Jochen is EMEA Head of Financial Technology and member of the global FSI leadership team at NVIDIA. He has spent the last 25 years in various roles on the topic of AI in financial services. He works with executives, data scientists, developers, and partners in the global NVIDIA ecosystem. Jochen is a financial data scientist and received his degree and Ph.D. from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Before NVIDIA he worked as a consultant, entrepreneur, and researcher with asset managers, banks, insurance companies, and central banks.

Fanny Zaplata is a Senior KYC Officer with over a decade of experience in the financial sector, spanning various financial institutions and countries. She began her career in 2014 as a Fraud Analyst at PayPal in Ireland and moved into KYC in 2017 with BNP Paribas in Portugal. In 2021 she led a team of 15 KYC analysts as a supervisor, overseeing complex onboarding, periodic review and remediation programs. Since 2022 she has served as a Senior KYC Specialist at GarantiBank International in the Netherlands, contributing her extensive knowledge across areas including onboarding, periodic and event-driven reviews, transaction monitoring, and fraud. She holds a master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Project Management. 

Since mid 2020 Boris is the General Manager and VP as Head of Banking Germany at FIS.

He joined in 2017 as Head of Innovation, where he built the enterprise architecture and requirements management for the German branch to drive innovation with AI, blockchain and cloud.

A computer  science graduated, he has deep expertise in applying new technologies to modernize and innovative banking, creating comprehensive solutions for top class customer experiences and efficient banking processes.

With 25 years in banking technology, he also implements EU and local regulations.
