With over 35 years of experience in the data world, Naomi brings deep insight to the data strategy and management required to support operating models in the financial sector. She has led buy and sell-side transformations, positioning data as the bedrock of operational excellence. In CDO/Head of Data roles, she has delivered data and operational strategies using state-of-the-art technologies, by combining her knowledge of data management, governance and analytics with her deep understanding of process and operational risk in the sector. Her expertise in data architecture and the intersection of business data concepts with physical implementations is very relevant to current strategic technological approaches, such as data fabrics and data mesh, and the establishment of cloud data platforms. Semantics holds the key to data accessibility, common understanding and well-governed datasets, by describing a holistic view of a data landscape and linking it to the business processes it serves. Recently Naomi has been CDO at HUB, involved in building a new operating system for the investment management industry based on a common data platform. Previously, she has held CDO/Head of Data and strategic advisory or consultancy roles at many well-known names across the sector.
