Marcel Wendt is a serial entrepreneur and the Chief Technology Officer and Founder of Digidentity, one of the leading global identity verification compan ies and QTSP . Together with his team he has developed the Dutch DigiD and their own Digidentity services portfolio, which include KYC and Digital signing among others. Digidentity works with a large range of customers, governments and corporations across all continents, accepting 4000+ ID documents and 180+ nationalities. Background bio ‘before’:

Wendt received degrees in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the University of Applied Science in The Hague. After completing his education, Wendt formed his own company, Chain Data, to address the growing need for secure data in the impending digital age. He has since founded and sold two successful international companies: Chain Technology, a technology resource provider for the energy, mobility, chemical and oil and gas sectors, and Golden Bytes International, which specializes in mobile messaging and concept creation for interactive television around the world.
