Debmalya Biswas has over 20 years of experience working on AI/ML, Big Data Analytics, Privacy & Security related topics; most recently as Executive Director – AI CoE Lead at UBS, Switzerland. He has previously worked for leading technology companies, e.g., Nokia Research, SAP Research, Oracle, and Swisscom, and led technology development at deep tech startups: Iprova and Darwin Digital. He has authored 50+ patents, is an Evaluation Committee member of multiple EU AI & XR projects, and is a drafting committee member of the EU AI Code of Practice. He holds a PhD in Distributed Systems from INRIA (University of Rennes 1), France. 

Nick Clark is a Partner and Associate Director at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), based in London. He specializes in service and support operations, focusing on customer service transformation, digital customer journeys, and the integration of AI and agile methodologies. Since joining BCG in 2017, Nick has led initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency across various industries. With a career spanning both academia and industry, Dr. Borrajo contributes to advancing AI methodologies and their practical implementations in complex systems.

Frans van Bruggen is a Senior Policy Officer for FinTech and Artificial Intelligence at De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB). He focuses on emerging technologies like AI, blockchain, and quantum computing, shaping their regulatory impact in the financial sector. Frans is also on the editorial board of Tijdschrift voor Toezicht and is pursuing a PhD in Public Administration at Utrecht University. His background includes roles in tech governance and investment analysis, with academic credentials from Harvard and VU Amsterdam.

Francesco Sardina is a Data Analytics Officer at MUFG Bank Europe, where he manages data quality issues and supports remediation efforts across departments and stakeholders at the Amsterdam European headquarter and subsidiaries across Europe. He works closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data inconsistencies, strengthening the foundation of reporting and ensuring system integrity.

Previously, Francesco served as a Senior Business Analyst in fintech and as a Market Risk Manager in banking and consulting across multiple countries. As the first employee at a RegTech startup, he led the development of tailored reporting solutions for the asset management industry, gaining hands-on experience with regulatory frameworks such as CRR II/III and Solvency II.

Andrew Harrison’s career has focused on the development and control of complex technology-driven innovative systems in Financial Services, Technology, and the Public Sector. He has worked with Deloitte, HSBC, Thomson Reuters F&R GRC (bought by LSEG), and startups, across the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands.

He currently serves as GenAI Governance Advisor at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. in the Netherlands, where he also worked as an AI Engineer and AI Analytics Lead in Strategy & Innovation. His focus is on controlled acceleration of GenAI within the bank, through governance upgrades, providing subject matter expertise, and practically implementing the EU AI Act.
