Maxim Afanasyev

Maxim has 15+ years of experience and proven track record in big data, AI/ML and digital transformations at scale for financial institutions globally. Before joining Google Cloud, he worked as AI Success Director at DataRobot helping major companies in the APAC region with data and AI transformations and as Managing Director in charge of AI, Data and CRM across 50+ markets at Standard Chartered Bank. His client engagements in APAC received multiple Digital and AI awards. Before relocating to Singapore, Maxim worked at McKinsey and Company where he delivered data strategies and AI use cases for clients in Europe and at Royal Bank of Scotland in London, UK as a derivatives trader. Maxim holds PhD in Operations, Information and Technology from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
