Lavonne Heaviland

As President of Centralized Operations at FirstBank, Lavonne ensures seamless, compliant, and efficient processing across all fraud prevention functions and payment channels, including instant payments, cards, checks, ACH, and wires. Her extensive experience in payments and operational excellence acquired in over 20 years in banking has positioned Lavonne as a trusted authority. In addition to her professional role, she is deeply involved in community and industry leadership and advocacy. Lavonne serves as Chair for the Denver Housing Authority’s Youth Employment Academy and actively participates in several industry advisory groups, including The Clearinghouse Real-Time Payments Business Committee, Visa Executive Client Council, the Colorado Council of Advisors on Consumer Credit, and serves as an advisor to the UCCS Women in Leadership council. She also holds a B.A. in Business Administration, an M.B.A., a graduate degree in Banking, and constantly pursues new growth opportunities in the financial sector.
