Krzysztof Maciejewski

Krzysztof Maciejewski is the Deputy Director for Strategic Development of New Markets at Polish Payment Standard (BLIK), which he joined in 2022 to co-lead international development. Previously, he worked at the National Bank of Poland (NBP) and the European Central Bank (ECB), focusing on payment system strategy and innovation. He holds a PhD in Economics from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and a master’s in European studies from the University of Hamburg. He has authored nearly 20 academic papers on the payment services market.
