Diana Carrasco
Diana has been working in the Financial Industry since 2002, first in payments and more recently in banking. Her expertise is in developing strategy for the Digital space. She has done so from different angles: from business development and propositions, to risk and compliance strategy. This varied background gives her a comprehensive understanding of the fintech environment and allows her to have a commercial approach to risk management. She believes the risk function should always be understood as a business enabler, not a blocker, and should fuel innovation.
She has also held different advisory roles, for governments, not-for-profit organisations, and the private industry. From all of them, what makes her most proud is her work helping protect children online. She has also been invited as a guest lecturer at University of Cambridge.
Having a strong interest in diversity and inclusion, she has collaborated with a number of networks and organisations outside of herday job. She is also a sponsor and a mentor at Lloyd Banking Group’s “Breakthrough”, a network committed to support the business to capitalise on the full potential of gender balanced teams.
