I am a founder, consultant, and mentor with over 20 years of experience in the payments industry, specializing in ACH, RTP, wires, FX, and cards. I have a proven track record of leading and delivering complex and high-impact projects, managing risk and compliance, and building strong partnerships with stakeholders across functions and geographies.

Currently, I am the founder of Serio Payments Consulting LLC, where I provide strategic guidance and operational support to clients in the fintech, banking, and e-commerce sectors. I am also the interim chief payments officer at ARB Interactive, a leading online gaming platform, where I oversee the payment operations, product development, and vendor management. My mission is to help businesses optimize their payment processes, enhance their customer experience, and navigate the regulatory landscape.

I have over 3 decades of experience with domain knowledge within issuing, acquiring, ISO’s, Payment Facilitators, FinTechs and Card Network Rules. I have experience operating merchant acquiring operations within a bank and as part of a bank holding company.

In 2021, I founded Napa Payments and Consulting to provide consulting services and to assist merchants and platforms select the right payments solution and integration to maximize capabilities and minimize both costs and regulatory complexities. Additionally, I provide expert witness consulting for complex civil and criminal cases.

Wayne Brown boasts 30+ years in financial services and technology, starting at Irving Bank. He transitioned into technology-driven finance, holding roles of increasing responsibility at prominent tech firms and top-tier banks.

As a product manager at MasterCard International, Wayne played a vital role in establishing the dominant MasterCard Remittance Presentment Payment Service (RPPS) network.

He replicated his success at Deutsche Bank, Citigroup, and ACI, enhancing digital channels for commercial clients.

In the last thirteen years, Wayne has advised banks and FinTech firms, focusing on process improvement, new product development, and partner identification. He excels in navigating complex banking environments, resolving political and budgetary challenges for lasting change.
